Graham's Great Day Out

Gravity grabbed Graham by his gravy-stained coat and bounced him into the air.  He twirled and whirled, went green and grinned from ear to ear as he was pushed towards the ground screaming.  Graham gripped the chrome grill making his knuckles turn grey.  His greasy hair looked gross, sleek like a greyhound so it didn't move.

The garishly coloured ride stopped, and Graham, head spinning, groped his way off.

"That was grand." He sighed.

"Nearly time to go home Graham." Gran warned. Graham groaned.

"We're having a great time, Graham.  Why don't you have a go on the "Graveyard" ride?" Gran asked graciously.

Graham's grimy face looked grumpy because he was hungry and wanted to have a mixed grill in the Greenhouse Cafe.

Grandad was waiting by the "Graveyard" ride at the top of the hill, which had graffiti on it.  He gracefully turned his wheelchair on the gravel and grimaced.  Unfortunately, the wheelchair did not grip on the gravel and rolled at great speed down the gradient.  Grandad screamed.  Graham and Gran looked up and there was Grandad hurtling towards them.  Graham grabbed Grandad just in time.

"Thanks Graham." Grandad gasped.

Gran said "After all the excitement, I think we'll go for a nice cup of tea and some grub."
